Tollgate Evangelical Church

...has been in the South Earlswood are for over 110 years, having been started by John Weston who wanted the developing community to have its own place of worship where people could hear about Jesus Christ. The church first met in a barn and a garage but came to build their own premises on the site that it now occupies in Woodhatch Road.

The church is largely made up of young familes but has a good representation of all ages, and activities to suit. The services are based around the Bible, with clear, relevant teaching. We sing old and new songs and there are activities for children during the main part of the service. Refreshments follow the morning service and there is room for the kids to let off some steam while you chat.

We are part of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (F.I.E.C) and hold to the Statement of Faith that can be read here.
